Turzi's music is subversive, drawing its energy from the soundtracks of Italian giallo films and the legacy of French situationist rock. His organic approach takes inspiration from German pioneers such as Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream. Whether performing with his band or as a solo artist, Romain Turzi reinvents, digresses, and rekindles the shadowy zones of the pan-European sonic experience.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream), Brigitte Fontaine, and Sébastien Tellier. A captivating live performer, he has shared the stage with legends such as Aphex Twin, Hawkwind, Sonic Youth, Spacemen 3, LCD Soundsystem, and Beak>.

In 2026, after a ten-year hiatus, his remarkable discography expands with a new album featuring English singer Oliver Gage.
